South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership wants to hear from you if you identify as Autistic/with Aspergers, have a child, family member, friend, neighbour or person you work with who is affected by autism.
You may be someone who is Autistic, Aspie or waiting diagnosis, a parent carer, grandparent, sibling, teacher, school crossing attendant or friend – anyone is likely to know a person with autism.
We want to ‘map’ existing autism services and supports, as well as begin to identify areas of unmet need which we can start to address alongside our autism partners in the Statutory, Voluntary, Private and Community Led sectors.
This will direct the future shape of autism services and move from ‘Transacting to Transforming’ autism support.
Any information you give will be treated in strict confidence and you do not have to give your name or any other personal details if you don’t want to.
All answers will be anonymised and any information given will be used only for the purposes of developing our Local Autism Action Plan. We will however ask you if you would like to take part in some focus groups we will convene once we’ve collated the information.
This plan will act as a statement of intent to meet the needs of those living with autism in South Lanarkshire over the next 5 years.
