Session 1992/3

A Fun Day was held on 20th March 1992 raising £4,000, highlights being Mr Inglis in a bath of slime and one of the teachers was captured and ransomed.

Senior prom was held on 11th June 1992 in the Cartland Bridge Hotel, Lanark.

Summer Trip was to Italy on 30th June 1992.

Trip to Alton Towers (578 pupils) 25th September 1992

October Trip to Holland and Belgium.

Promising musical talent - "Librarian" with Scott Sneddon on drums, "Soul Drive" with Justin McConville and "Lorettas Change" starring Martin Callan, Steven jenkins, Craig Kirk, Des Callan, Mark Duncan and Steven Leslie.

Neil Hose became the Junior British Kart Racing champ (100cc) in 1992

Kirkton House - Mrs Donnelly and Mr Campbell (Mr Campbell left to go to Braidhurst High School and Mr Miller took on his post).
Milton House - Mr Payne and Mrs Struthers (Captains  were Phillip Hobbins & Jill Greenshields)
Douglas House: Miss Chapman, Mr Main & Mr Reid
Lee House : Mrs Craig, Mr Inglis and Mrs Swan.

"Robin the Hood" was the school show.

Foreign trips were organised to Trier, Strasbourg, Hemmingen and Chalons.

There were three Foreign Exchange trips held, to Strasbourg and Yvetot in France and Trier in Germany.

Summer Trip - 30th June 1993 Austria

The Burns Supper was organised by the Debating Society with Mr McLellan, Mr G Miller, Mr Poyner and Mrs Scott speaking and Mr D Miller on the pipes.

Pupils from S1-6 performed in "A Christmas Carol" on 20 & 21 January 1994.

The Fencing Team won the Thistle Shield which made them the top Fencing School for boys in Scotland.
