Four puppies that had been cruelly hunted for sport after being born in a landfill site in Lanarkshire have been found new homes.

Lanarkshire teenager makes team.

Lanarkshire teenager, Ross aged 17 years, has been selected to represent his national team during the Millfield International Festival in April. This tournament will take place in Somerset in England and Ross will be competing against the England A, Wales A and Belgium teams over the course of eight days.

Google Spy
Recently a new version of Google Earth has been unveiled which enables anyone to view ariel images of their homes, streets and gardens of others. Many doubt the safety of their properties with this idea and fear that the tool will be misused as a prying mechanism.

Full-Fat Milk Ban
Most doctors say that children should have full fat milk until they are five, giving them the nutrients and fat they need to grow. Now though, the Scottish Government are trying to block children from drinking whole milk, in a bid to stop obesity.

Final Report by Julia and Sofia
This year, a group of us have been chosen to create our own news stories for the BBC School Report. Over the past month, we have been meeting after school once a week to discuss ideas and film short clips on issues such as stereotypes and the misrepresentation of youths in the media. Around twenty first and second years were selected for their creativity and motivation demonstrated in English.
