Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

Four pupils received award certificates for successfully completing seperate boys' and girls' outward-bound courses at Ardoenaig, near Killin.  David Smith (school captain) Karan Russell, Amy Moffat and David Robb participated in walking, climbing, abseiling, caneoing and canyoning, allowing them to develop teamwork and leadership skills.

 

Stock Market Challenge

A group of third year pupils took part in the 7th annual Stock Market Challenge at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. Julia Hamilton, Rachael Leghorn, Caitlin McEwan, Sarah Scott and Colin McCluskey all took an active part in the competition run by Skills Development Scotland.

 

Lomond Challenge Triathlon 2009

 

Congratulations to our triathlon teams who took part in the Lomond Challenge Triathlon on Saturday.

Our boys team (Chris Clarkson & David Robb) came 3rd in the male event with David finishing in 5th position overall.

Our top girls team (Alice Fingland & Nichola Lindsay) also achieved 3rd place in their event with Nichola finishing in 2nd place in the female event.
