Non-Uniform Day on behalf of St Andrew's Hospice

A Personal Development group from Carluke High School have raised £911.00 for St Andrews Hospice by holding a non uniform day on the Thursday 23rd of September in which pupils and staff contributed by donating £1 to allow them not to wear school uniform. The event was organised by Laura Brown, James Wilson, Megan Djuritschek and Sarah Wyper who advertised the event by making posters and announcing at school assemblies and producing a power point which was played at lunch time to highlight the cause. Stickers were designed and produced by the Personal Development pupils, these were exchanged for a £1 donation. “We are delighted to have raised this amount of money for such an important cause”.

Congratulations (again!) to Nicola Lindsay 6D who won the St Andrews Hospice Schools 6k Challenge (again!) on Sunday.

Lomond Challenge Triathlon

Congratulations to Alice Fingland and Nicola Lindsay who won the female team section of the Lomond Challenge Triathlon at Loch Lomond on Saturday.
Nicola achieved 2nd place overall with Alice 3rd.

Scottish U17 Outdoor Bowling
Kimberly Harrison 5B has been selected to play in the Scottish U17 outdoor bowling team. She will play in a competition between Scotland and England on 12th September.
