The Active Breaks staff are predominantly youth workers who operate within schools and surrounding areas throughout South Lanarkshire.
They engage with pupils during school breaks, at lunch time and at the end of the school day, to promote: positive behaviour; improve pupils' personal and social skills; develop creativity among pupils; increase the uptake of health-related activities and to take forward the citizenship agenda |

The Careers Advisor to Carluke High School is Miss Jennifer Millar. She provides guidance, advice and information to meet the needs of all students. Pupils can contact the Careers Advisor by completing a self referral card. All S4-6 pupils who are leaving school are guaranteed an interview with the Careers Advisor. |
