Commonwealth Games come to Carluke

Commonwealth Games baton to come through Clydesdale

The Commonwealth Games baton will be getting carried through Lanark , Carluke and Law on the 22nd of June which is a Sunday. As part of The Queen's Baton Relay.


Organisers believe that the relay will give people a chance to join in the excitement of the countdown to the Glasgow 2014 .

This is Scotland's biggest ever sporting also cultural event. People nominated to carry the baton will be people picked from the local community. The folks names nominated will be released on the 31st of March.

This will be really exiting for the people of South Lanarkshire when the Baton comes through their towns.
