BBC School News Report
BBC School Report
On the 27th March thousands of pupils will become junior reporters for a day. My school, Carluke High is one of the many schools involved. The project lets 11-16 year olds become news reporters and search for fascinating reports.
The reports can take the form of audio, video or text – based and can be on a huge range of things. This project is run between BBC News and BBC Learning. The reports are put up on the school websites which are linked to the BBC website.
I asked some of my friends what they thought about BBC School Report:
- " I got to find out what a news reporter does and how hard it is",.
-" Good job experience if you want to become a reporter".
- " It is a lot of work but worth it in the end".
I think the BBC School Report is a good idea and lets kids take over the news for the day!
