Carluke High School has been awarded CyberFirst Silver status

Carluke High School has been awarded CyberFirst Silver status, and we are one of only 25 schools in Scotland to have this.
CyberFirst is a government-backed outreach and education programme designed to create opportunities for talented young people in future-focused tech careers. CyberFirst supports students from all backgrounds to consider a career in tech – including cyber security, AI, quantum computing, software, data and more.
Now, more than ever, it is vitally important that our young people have experience of developing Cyber skills and knowledge. Mr Chris Rafferty has been instrumental in leading this work not only in Carluke, but across South Lanarkshire.  Huge thanks and congratulations to Mr Rafferty and the team here for taking this forward for our pupils and for working hard behind the scenes to develop meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
